Many sights are evidents of more than 1200 years of history. The ancient Old Town is in walking distance and offers the ideal possibility for a walk, the visit of interesting museums or long shopping tours.

The castle build in 1767 takes you back to the amazing baroque period and into the romantik atmoshere at the lake Aasee.
Our hotel is nearby: cathedral, Lamberti church, town hall, town museum, "Kiepenkerl" monument, market place and promenade.
In 1 till 3 km distance there are: the lake Aasee, open air museum Mühlenhof, a small zoo, museum of natural history with planetarium, castle with palace garden and castle Hülshoff.
